Wear comfortable clothing

Avoid caffeine & heavy meals prior to your massage
Allow time before & after so that you don’t have to rush


Breathe evenly during your massage
Point out any particular areas you want to focus on
Let the therapist know if you have a preferred massage style
Ask for lighter or firmer pressure at any time during your massage


Drink plenty of water
Avoid caffeine for an hour or so after your massage appointment
If you experience minor soreness afterward, do some light stretching, apply a heating pad and/or take a warm shower
